Documents and questions

We process the text you paste or upload to prepare your document. When you ask a question, we send the question and document text to an AI service to find relevant passages.

Your last document is saved in your browser so you can return to it after refreshing. You can remove it with “Clear saved document” in Settings or by clearing this site’s browser data. Loading another document replaces the saved copy.

We also keep temporary copies for document processing. These have no fixed deletion period. We do not intentionally include document text or questions in our activity logs.

What happens when you share

A passage share includes your question, the selected passage, the document title, and source details. A document share includes the full document text. Anyone with the link can read the shared content, and social networks may use it to display a preview.

Shares created through the sharing buttons expire after 30 days and are then scheduled for deletion. Copies saved by other people or websites may remain. Only share content you are comfortable making public.

Your account

We use your email address to send login links and keep track of your account. Account information stays until you ask us to delete it. Logging out does not delete your account.

Login links work once and expire after 15 minutes. You can stay logged in for up to 30 days. Email privacy@sezwhere.com to request account deletion.

Settings and site security

We use cookies to keep you logged in and protect requests. Your preferences and any API key you choose to save are stored in your browser. A saved key is sent with questions you pay for through your own account; you can remove it in Settings.

We and our providers process connection and device information, including your IP address, to deliver the site and prevent abuse. We keep usage counts and account or network identifiers to enforce limits.

We do not sell personal information or run advertising trackers. Clearing browser data removes your saved document, settings, and key. To delete your account or a shared document, contact us.

Who processes information

We use service providers to run the site, store shared content, send login emails, protect against abuse, and process questions. They may process information outside your country, and their retention practices also apply. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to investigate abuse and protect the service.

Your rights

Contact privacy@sezwhere.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to your data protection authority. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

We use information to provide the service you request, protect it from abuse, and meet legal obligations. Where a legal basis is required, we rely on providing the service under our terms, our legitimate interest in keeping it secure, and compliance with law.

We will update this page when our practices change and call out material changes on the site.
